8.1 Are marquee watermark and fixed logo the same thing?
No. A fixed logo is the same for every viewer and establishes ownership. A marquee can be tied to the viewer or session, making it more useful for deterrence and investigation.
8.2 Is full-screen watermark definitely safer?
Not necessarily. You must first confirm whether the VOD capability is supported; even if it is supported, it is more eye-catching and has wider coverage, which may affect viewing. If the identity can be forged or there is no backend mapping, no matter how large the coverage is, it cannot be effectively traced.
8.3 Does the mobile phone number have to be displayed in the watermark?
No. A masked phone number, employee ID, account ID, or random traceability code can remain recognizable while reducing the personal data exposed by a leaked screenshot.
8.4 Can two watermarks be used at the same time?
Support for combining watermark types—and their behavior together—depends on the current VOD account, product edition, and endpoint integration tests.
